Data Deletion Instructions

Campaign Budget Optimizer (CBO) is operated by Corriston Consulting, LLC. This page explains how to request deletion of your CBO account and associated data, and how to revoke CBO's access to your connected advertising and analytics platforms.

How to request deletion of your CBO account and data

Option 1 — Email request

Send a message to gary@campaignbudgetoptimizer.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line “Delete my account”. We will confirm receipt, then permanently delete your account, profile, connected platform credentials, budget plans, pending scheduled publishes, proposals, and all associated data. Deletion is completed within 30 days of your request.

Option 2 — Disconnect platforms first

If you want to stop CBO's access to a specific advertising or analytics account before requesting full deletion, disconnect it from Settings → Connected Platforms. Disconnecting a platform revokes CBO's access for that account immediately, prevents pending schedules for that connection from executing, and deletes the stored tokens.

How to revoke CBO's access to your Google account

CBO connects to Google Ads and Google Analytics via OAuth, and both share a single Google authorization. When you disconnect your last Google connection, we revoke CBO's access at Google; tokens for any disconnected connection are deleted from our systems within 24 hours. Campaign performance data, analytics report data, recommendations, and audit entries derived from that connection are purged within 30 days.

You can also revoke access directly in your Google Account:

  1. Go to Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access.
  2. Find Campaign Budget Optimizer in the list.
  3. Click Remove access and confirm.

Revoking at Google stops all further API access. Tokens already stored in CBO become invalid and are deleted on the next scheduled refresh check; derived data is purged within 30 days.

How to revoke CBO's access to your Meta Ads account

CBO connects to Meta via OAuth. Even after deleting your CBO account, you can revoke CBO's app permission directly in Meta:

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites.
  2. Find Campaign Budget Optimizer in the list of active apps.
  3. Click Remove and confirm.

You can also disconnect from within CBO before requesting account deletion:

  1. Go to Settings → Connected Platforms.
  2. Click Disconnect next to Meta Ads.

What gets deleted

  • Your CBO account and login credentials
  • Your profile information (name, email, company details)
  • All connected platform OAuth tokens (Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Analytics)
  • All budget plans, pending scheduled publishes, proposals, performance data, and audit logs associated with your account

What we may retain

  • Records required by law or for fraud prevention (typically up to 7 years)
  • Anonymized or aggregated usage data that cannot be linked back to you
  • Communications you sent us (e.g., support emails), retained for legal compliance
